Human-Nature is now a registered Society

We are thrilled to be growing into a Not-for-Profit organization to further support and expand the reach of our services. We have an Incredible team of dedicated Board of Directors who are helping us navigate this transformation, and hope to be running all of our services under this new entity by September 2020!

Mission: Human-Nature Counselling Society aims to enhance the well-being of individuals and families across the life span, through delivering effective, innovative and accessible nature-based therapy services across Greater Victoria and the Cowichan region.

Vision: We strive to provide evidence informed nature-based counselling services in a way that is accessible, low-barrier, fosters resilience, and is engaged in community. Utilizing an ecological systems approach, we view the individual as an embedded part of their family, community, cultural systems and larger web of life. Thus, we aim to strengthen these relationships as a part of a reciprocal healing process for both the human and more than human natural world.
